Hi! We live in Raleigh, North Carolina. Our family consists of Dean (me), Kathy (my spouse),
Sandy (my daughter), and
Cinnamon (our furry member of the family), a 6 year old Sheltie.

We really enjoy the holidays! Most of all we enjoy sharing our decorations and seeing others enjoy them. I have decorated extensively for Christmas and Halloween for many years, but two years ago I saw my first Light-O-Rama video and being an engineer and creator I was hooked. We planned for incorporating LOR into the displays for about two years, reading tons of information on the web, using the demo version of LOR to develop our sequences over a year and half, and finally taking the plunge to get the controllers for the 2008 Halloween and Christmas season. During the preparation period, we constructed a 14 foot megatree of my own design using PVC, 48 mini trees using tomato cages, and developing the concept for the yard layout. We bought Holiday Lights Designer 4 to connect with the LOR sofware to give us a better visual feel for the what the yard would look like. And it worked! The community response was great!

And now we are already planning for this coming season. The neat thing about this hobby is it can keep you busy all year long. More controllers, more lights, more controllers.....
